Wool Pellets for Gardening

These pellets are 100% wool processed from our sheep by Wild Valley Farms.  Wool pellets are natural, sustainable and environmentally friendly.  They improve your soil, creating a healthy environment for plants.  

Wool pellets are able to hold up to 20% of their weight in water, releasing it as needed by the plants.  This helps to protect you plants from over watering and may reduce the amount of watering's. 

They will expand to and increase porosity of your soil allowing plant roots to breath.  Wool contains nitrogen and potassium (NPK 9-0-2) and the pellets act as a slow release fertilizer. 

Wool may deter slugs!  The scratchiness and tannins in wool form a barrier that slugs prefer not to cross.
